Bacchendri Pal steps on Mount Everest.(23/05/1984)

The first lady hiker to step on to Mount Everest- Bacchendri Pal did this laudable act on 23rd may 1984. It was truly proudly act for all Indians, as she was an Indian by an origin. It was truly difficult for people to hie the Everest without any modern equipments. But Bacchendri pal did this with a super daring attitude, and will to win. Today she handles the expeditions to Himalayas for women in Tata steel foundation. She born in a small and simple family, and then went to become an adventure instructor. Then she stepped out to become an extraordinary, and planned to step on the Everest to become the first lady to step on to Mount Everest. Which is the highest peak in the world, based in Himalayan mountain ranges.  She was born in Uttarkashi district in a village named Naku. She has also made by taking a group of women and rafting through the waves of Ganges, and covered around 2500 kms, from Haridwar to Kolkata. So in all she has already set many benchmarks for Indian women to cover them and go miles ahead then the men in truly traditional society.
